MISSION
Our guides take great pride in providing you with a memorable and exciting hunt. They especially love it when youngsters are involved. Our hunts are held on both private land and the swamps of the Santee. We will get you the right spot to take the shot.
Our Deer hunts take place in Orangeburg County on 3000 continuous acres of private land 19 miles from our camp. The Deer harvest in the state of South Carolina was 11.2 Deer per square mile for the 2007 season. This is truly an impressive statistic for Whitetail hunting. Our property averaged over 42.2 per square mile in the 2007 season. The low country of South Carolina has the largest Deer herd in the Eastern United States. Orangeburg County consistently places within the top 5 counties in the state for the most Deer harvested.
In our neck of the woods we have so many Whitetail Deer the season starts August the 15th and runs through January 1st. There is no limit on antlered Bucks! That’s right! NO LIMIT ON ANTLERED BUCKS! Tags are also available for antlerless Deer on either-sex days. Our still-hunting is done from custom-made elevated box stands. Each stand is covered to keep out elements and accommodates 2 people. We will work very hard to provide you with an opportunity to successfully harvest a Whitetail. We are not selling “trophy deer hunts” although there is trophy Whitetail available. This is the chance for those of you who have worked hard to locate, but have not been able to take a Whitetail in past few seasons a great opportunity to take up to 2 Deer per day. It is truly a great experience for 1st time kids or teens to hunt whitetail deer. If you’re a first time hunter or looking to put venison in the freezer you’ve come to the right place. Our property tagged over 190 Whitetail Deer during the 2007 season!
As is with all of our guided trips food & beverage are supplied. All guided hunts have a basic” PAY TO PLAY” fee of $185.00 dollars per person for 8 hours of hunting. Our guides will do every thing with in there power to provide you and your family with a memorable and exciting hunt.
